Pet of the Week – Indy

OSWEGO, NY – This little mare is Indy.

Her tattoo name is Saratoga Dolly.

Indy

Indy

DOB: 2-23-1999.

She is very good with kids and other animals.

She’s about 15.2 hands.

She is good with the vet and farrier, and good in a stall or run in shed.

She is not for a beginner or inexperienced horse person because she needs someone to work with her from the ground up, with  kind but firm direction.

She has had little to no training for the past 12 years but has great potential.

She knows how to lunge and she possibly drives.

We can put her blanket on and off in the paddock or in cross ties.

Indy appears to have some riding experience at this time, but we would highly recommend that she be started from the beginning again, first with ground work and then revisiting saddle time.

Please contact Kathy at 315-591-4422 for additional information on this horse and adoption!

What she needs now is an owner as “good” as she is.
