Oswego County Sheriff’s Office 11/19/2008

On 11/18/08 at 10:44 a.m., Timothy J. Landphere, 26, of 441 CR 1A, Oswego, NY was arrested on a warrant charging him with Criminal Possession of Marihuana, First Degree, a class C felony and Unlawful Growing of Marihuana, a class A misdemeanor.  Mr. Landphere was arraigned in the Town of Sandy Creek Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $4000.00 cash or $8000.00 bond with a return to court date of 12/4/08.

On 11/18/08, Shane M. Casselman, 31, of 2576 CR 12, Central Square, NY was arrested at 7:49 p.m. for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 2nd (4 scoffs) stemming from the investigation into a gas drive off at the Sun Up Food Store in the Town of Hastings on 11/6/08.  Mr. Casselman was released on an appearance returnable to the Town of Hastings Court on 12/3/08 and then turned over to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Dept on a bench warrant.

On 11/18/08 at 9:16 p.m., Hope C. Maclean, 39, of 5350 St. Rt. 104 Lot 40, Oswego, NY was operating a 1999 Pontiac eastbound on SR 104 in the Town of Scriba when the vehicle reportedly lost control and began to spin, colliding with a 2003 Ford being operated by William S. Matott, 18, of 95 W. Albany St., Oswego, NY and sent it into a guardrail.  Unsafe speed and slippery pavement seem to have been contributing factors.  Ms. Maclean was ticketed for Speeding and Mr. Matott was issued a ticket for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV.

On 11/19/08 at 6:07 a.m., Rocky R. Craver, 29, of 311 Bunker Hill Rd., Oswego, NY was operating a 2002 Subaru north on CR 8 in the Town of Granby when a 1997 Chevy being operated by David J. Spedding 2nd , 17, of 2220 CR 8, Oswego, NY reportedly lost control on the snow covered roadway crossing the center line and collided with Mr. Craver’s vehicle of which came to rest on the east shoulder after striking a snow embankment.  Mr. Spedding was issued a ticket for Failure to Keep Right.
