On 8/14/09 at 11:06 a.m., Jacob I. Reid, 24, of 5584 SR 104 East, Oswego, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving With .08
of One Percent or More of Alcohol, and Moved from Lane Unsafely following the investigation into a two-vehicle accident that occurred at SR 104 and Simpson Drive in the Town of Scriba where he allegedly swerved across the center line making contact with the rear end of a vehicle being driven by Rebecca A. Borden, 19, of 39 Middle Road, Oswego,
before preceding to cross the eastbound lane and hit a utility pole before coming to rest against a street sign.
Mr. Reid was ticketed and released to a third party.
He is scheduled to answer the charges before
Town of Scriba Court on 8/27/09.
On 8/14/09 at 11:01 p.m., Victor T. Kelley, 18, of 22 Pulaski St., Altmar, a 17-year-old female from Manlius, and a 17-year-old female residing in the Town of Albion, were each charged with Unlawful
Possession of Marijuana, a violation.
All three were issued an appearance ticket and are scheduled to answer the charge before Town of
Williamstown Court on 9/01/09.
The three were reportedly found to be in
possession of marijuana during an area check of the grounds at the Williamstown Field Days.
They were reportedly observed inside the dugout at the baseball field.
On 8/15/09 at 4:35 p.m., Lacey D. Brunelle Jr., 22, of 104 Country Lane, Hannibal, was arrested for three counts of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child, First Degree, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from an incident that occurred on 8/03/09 during which he allegedly provided alcohol to minors.
Mr. Brunelle was issued an appearance ticket
returnable to Town of Hannibal Court on 8/18/09.
On 8/15/09 at 7:15 p.m., Charles R. Yablonski, 47, of 1 Catfish Drive, Oswego, was arrested for Operating a Vessel While Intoxicated, a violation of the Navigation Law, while on Sandy Pond in the Town of Sandy Creek.
Mr. Yablonski was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Sandy Creek Court on 10/22/09 and released to a third party.
Officers were reportedly stopping boats to check their safety equipment at the time of the arrest.
On 8/15/09, William A. Knapp, 29, of 7 Chinook Lane, Altmar, was arrested for Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, all violations, and Assault, Third Degree, a class A
misdemeanor.
The arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred at the Williamstown Field Days on 8/15/09 at approximately 8:25 p.m. that began when he allegedly struck a female victim with a chair.
Mr. Knapp reportedly refused to leave the Field Days after repeatedly being asked to do so, physically resisting arrest, then once in custody, continued
to act out, yelling, and threatening to kill an officer and burn his house down.
He was arraigned before Town of Williamstown Court and released on his own recognizance, scheduled to reappear in court on 9/01/09.
Further investigation revealed during the arrest Mr. Knapp reportedly attempted to kick an officer in the head after he was placed in the patrol car.
It was further alleged that during the episode at
the Field Days, Mr. Knapp had also pushed a male victim to the ground, kicked him in the back while on the ground, and pushed the male victim
causing the victim to fall onto a 15-month-old child who was in a stroller.
On 8/16/09 Mr. Knapp was further charged with Assault, Third Degree; Harassment, Second
Degree, a violation; as well as Endangering the Welfare of a Child, class A misdemeanor.
Mr. Knapp was issued appearance tickets for these
charges and is scheduled to answer them before Town of Williamstown Court on 9/01/09.
On 8/16/09 at 6:37 p.m., Mark M. Muniz, 45, of 188 CR 27, Redfield, was arrested for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor, and Criminal Trespass, Third Degree, a class B misdemeanor.
Mr. Muniz was arraigned before Town of Orwell Court and remanded to the Oswego County
Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $2,000 bond.
He is scheduled to return to Town of Orwell Court on 9/02/09.
The arrest stems from an incident that occurred in the Town of Redfield where he was accused of stealing a wallet.
The victim had reportedly placed his wallet in a cooler that he had given Mr. Muniz permission to store alcohol in, from which Mr. Muniz was accused of taking the wallet.
The incident took place approximately 10 feet from the Redfield Hotel, outside of another business.
When the victim discovered the missing wallet he went to the Redfield Hotel, where the victim was, to confront him and found Mr. Muniz inside the Hotel drinking alcohol, with empty bottles of liquor inside the burned building.
On 8/16/09 at 11 p.m., Christopher A, McCarthy, 26, of 708 N. Townsend St., Syracuse, was turned over to a member of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office after being detained by a member of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently arrested based on a warrant issued by Town of Scriba Court charging him with Aggravated Harassment, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Mr. McCarthy was arraigned before Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond.
He is scheduled to return to court on 8/20/09.
