On 5/30/08 at 6:34 p.m., Christine M. Shannon, 17, of 2429 US Rt., Parish, NY was operating a 1996 Ford on SR 104B in the Town of New Haven when she reportedly stopped at the stop sign at the intersection with CR 43 and as the vehicle proceeded to cross 104B it collided with a 2001 Buick driven by Georgiann R. Schrader, 57, of 573 Westchester Ave., Rochester, NY, as Ms. Schrader’s vehicle was unable to avoid the collision. Ms. Shannon was transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse and Ms. Schrader was taken by ambulance to Oswego Hospital. Ms. Shannon was ticketed for Failure to Yield the Right of Way at a Stop Sign.
