Project Bloom Fulton Now Taking Orders for Planters

OSWEGO, NY – Despite our recent blanketing of snow, it won’t be long before the city of Fulton will be awash in the colors of spring.

As part of our citywide beautification program, Project Bloom will bring large, colorful flowering planters to our business area and an array of flowers to our five “Welcome” signs.

The goal of this campaign is to maintain our city as an attractive and welcome site for visiting friends and families and as a hometown of which we can all be proud.

We look forward to the support of returning and new sponsors.

As a planter sponsor, you will receive the quantity of 14 ½ x 14 ¼ inch planters that you order, a care guide to maintain a healthy and vibrant life for the plants, delivery of the plants to your business and pick up of the planters at the end of the season.

To reserve your planter(s), please contact the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce no later than Feb. 29.

Delivery of planters will be in mid to late May.

Orders can also be placed online at www.oswegofultonchamber.com/FultonBloom

No orders will be accepted without payment.

Additionally, Project Bloom-Fulton will again be coordinating a Fulton Mayberry Day on May 5.

Volunteers can assist the Project Bloom committee by working in groups along the major roads and highways or in public areas cleaning up trash and leaves.

Volunteers and groups should call Joann at 598-3953 to register.

If you would like more information, call 598-9622 or Lisa Gray at the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce 343-7681.
