FULTON, NY – Children in the CYO Summer Recreation Program learned some very important lessons recently when members of the Red Cross of Central New York visited the program for a special presentation on safety, disaster relief and preparation.

Myia Knapp and Julie Shines spoke to the children about personal safety and what to do in case of a disaster.
The children played Disaster Relief Bingo with the object being to find the correct solution to a problem that they could potentially face.
The two engaged the children and provide them with practical information that they will find useful throughout their lives.
The CYO Summer Recreation Program is program of Catholic Charities of Oswego County.
