After several months of offering their monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet proceeds as a benefit to local non-profit organizations, worthy causes and charities, once again the Lake City Masonic Lodge No. 127 and the ladies of The Order of Eastern Star No. 205 are happy to present a freewill breakfast on October 20 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Donations are accepted but not expected.
Every month this full course feast is well attended and looked forward to by the community, usually including their renowned French toast, pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage.
Drinks also like coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice and milk.
Always in the comfortable cushioned chair setting of the Lake City Lodge at 765 E. Seneca St.
Parking is plentiful, and the food is always hot and cooked to order.
High chairs are there for young ones, and even a special closed off room is available for example, church groups and special occasions.
Take-out is available either in person or by calling the lodge.
Normally the breakfast buffet is $7 for adults, $5 ages 6-11, under 6 free.
A low price the lodge has maintained for some time to help the community.
The lodge is also now open to the public for the purpose of renting the hall for special occasions at a very low price.
A few examples are meetings, award dinners and ceremonies, holiday parties, birthdays, wedding rehearsal dinners, receptions, dancing, baby and wedding showers, graduation parties and much more.
In addition to renting the hall, should food be desired on site catering is available but not required, outside caterers are welcome.
Charity is the basic tenet of Freemasonry.
Across the US, Masons contribute more than $2 million daily.
