Mrs. Kathleen Callahan, a retired second grade teacher from Granby Elementary, returned to school recently to serve as a guest reader for students in Tom Briggs and Reenie Distin's classes. Mrs. Callahan read the story Ming Lo Moves the Mountain by Arnold Lobel. The students recognized the author as they were reading another story by him in their reading textbooks. Following the story the second graders asked Mrs. Callahan questions about her role as a teacher as well as her interests.
