Schneider, Warner Deadlocked Heading Into Sportsman Shootout At Fulton Speedway Outlaw 200 Weekend

FULTON, NY – ((By Dave Medler) – When Dennis Beaudette of Industrial Tire Of CNY came to officials of the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways about a lucrative SUNY Canton Sportsman Series at both tracks, everyone involved knew it would be a home run for both competitors and fans.

After five Industrial Tire Of CNY Sportsman Shootout events, it all comes down to the $2,500 to win Industrial Tire Of CNY 50 lap Sportsman Shootout during the 28th Annual Outlaw 200 weekend (October 4-5) at the Fulton Speedway.

In the highly competitive and exciting races, six drivers have earned through the series a guaranteed automatic top-twelve redraw spot. Drivers who are locked in are, Beth Schneider, Rocky Warner, Jordan Bennett, Ron Davis III and Jim Spano. Chris Hulsizer earned the last redraw being the highest driver in the point standings without a spot in the series.

Looking at the point standings coming into the finale, Fulton Speedway SUNY Canton Sportsman Track Champion, Beth Schneider and Rock Warner come into the event deadlocked. Here is a look at the top-ten in the standings. Friday, October, 4 – Tech Inspection and 10-lap heat races

Saturday, October, 5 – Last chance qualifiers and 50-lap feature. 50-Lap Feature (1) $2,500 (2) $1,500 (3) $1,000 plus top-three heat bonuses.

All cars subject to extensive pre and post race tech inspection and Dyno testing. Legal 602 Crate Engines ONLY.

American Racer or DIRTcar Hoosier Tires allowed.

Pump gas or Sunoco Race Gas Only

AMB Transponder Required.
