swego, NY – Alliance Bank, NA has partnered with the Tri-Oswego 2012 Triathlon as the official race staff and volunteer program sponsor, according to Shane Broadwell, Tri-Oswego Race Director.
Alliance Bank’s sponsorship will support the Tri-Oswego event and provide this upcoming weekend’s race staff and 200 volunteers with event shirts for the race.
“We really appreciate the partnership with Barb Bateman and Alliance Bank for this year’s race staff and volunteer program,” said Broadwell. “They were a part of the event last year, but they indicated they want to have a larger role this year, and have delivered with their support of our staff and volunteers.”
This year’s Tri-Oswego 2012 Triathlon is scheduled for this upcoming Saturday, June 16th in Oswego, New York. Hundreds of participants have signed on to participate in this year’s USA Triathlon sanctioned event, which will include a Sprint, Intermediate, and Sprint Relay Tri race once again this year.
In addition to the triathlon, a variety of other activities are planned for this year’s event including the Oswego Health and Wellness Expo, Novelis Kids’ Fun Run, Youth Bicycle Rodeo, Zumba and Yoga for kids, Inflatable Bounce Houses, US Army displays, music, and more.
