OSWEGO – A brand-new horsepower-fueled experience is rolling into Central New York as the Full Throttle Empire Truck Show officially announces its launch, taking place July 31st and August 1st at Oswego Speedway. The event will bring together some of the biggest, boldest, and most customized trucks from across the region and beyond for a weekend built around performance, competition, and community.
The Full Throttle Empire Truck Show is designed as more than a traditional truck show—it is a full-scale motorsports and lifestyle festival celebrating diesel performance, custom builds, and the culture surrounding them. The event is proudly produced by the team behind the Syracuse Nationals, one of the largest and most established automotive events in the country.
A major highlight of the weekend will be the addition of the Burnout Nationals, featuring high-energy, tire-shredding competition throughout the event. Competitors will be able to sign up to participate in either the Burnout Nationals Open Class or Pro Class, giving drivers the opportunity to showcase skill, power, and precision in front of an enthusiastic live crowd.
In addition to the truck show and burnout competition, attendees will experience the all-new “Infield Insanity” action zone—an immersive entertainment area packed with nonstop energy and attractions, including:
- Burnout Nationals competition action
- Motorcycle stunt shows
- Tug-of-war competitions
- Dyno challenge
- Bikini contest
- Mechanical bull rides
- Kids Power Wheels races
- Food trucks and vendor midway
“This event is built to be an experience from start to finish,” said J.R. Zazzara, organizer of the event. “We’re bringing together trucks, competition, entertainment, and community all in one place at an iconic venue like Oswego Speedway. Whether you’re competing, showing, or attending, there’s something happening at every turn.”
The event will also feature custom truck displays, vendor exhibits, and lifestyle activations, creating a destination weekend for enthusiasts, families, and industry brands alike.
Organizers encourage truck owners and competitors to register early, as both show vehicle space and Burnout Nationals competition entries are expected to fill quickly for this inaugural event.
