Madison Myers Races to First Career Victory in Oswego Kartway’s Justin Lamb Memorial

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Kartway’s Justin Lamb Memorial finished out the Bullring’s regular season last Friday with great racing top to bottom.

Pulling into victory lane for the first time in Jr. Purple Clone was youngster Madison Myers driving the No. 601. Myers bested a tough field of Jr. Purple competitors beating out Kyle Devendorf, Logan Crisafulli, Hunter Hollenbeck, and Tyler Emmons for the win.

In Jr. Green Clone Cole Combes also ran to his first victory topping Jason Parkhurst and Emma Spaulding.

Other junior winners on the night included Tucker Fenske (Jr. Novice), Ryan Dennison (Sr. Green Clone), Tanner Emmons (Jr. Blue Clone), and Jake Holmes (Sr. Blue Clone).

On the senior side, Josh Ostrander continued his recent stranglehold on the State Clone Heavy class winning yet again this time over Dan Kapuscinski, Tony Bootes, DJ Shuman, and Ricky Pritchard.

Jordan Sullivan came on to win Clone Heavy over Kyle Vincent and Joe Hayden.

Other senior division winners included Ross Spilman (Clone Super Heavy), Zach Mooney (Stock Medium), Seth Perrin (Clone Light), Jamie Shutts (Masters), Ed Lawton (Clone Medium), and Chris Knight (State Clone Light).

Oswego Kartway returns to action next Thursday for the 10th annual Oswego Kartway Classic presented by RJ Kart Sales.

Pit gates will open at 3:30 p.m. with the drivers’ meeting at 5:30 p.m., hot laps 5:45 p.m., and time trials at 6:30 p.m.

Entry fees will be $30 for Kartway members and $35 for non-members and include pit passes. Pit pass prices will be $15.

As always spectators are welcome to come to the Kartway and enjoy the racing action.

A full service concession stand is open, with limited bleacher seating.

Fans are encouraged to bring their vehicle and park along the racing surface for a great view of the action. Admission for fans is only $5 per car load.

Kartway events run May through September on most Friday nights, culminating with the Fall Frenzy 200 Championships on September 24.
