Mother Nature Winner At Fulton Speedway May 21; Racing, Demo Derbies May 28

FULTON, NY – The fans were in the stands and a great field of cars filled the pits setting a stage for a great night of racing. Mother Nature had other ideas just after the first heat of the evening took the checkers.

Despite using a set of tillers, packer trucks and the 30 SUNY Canton Sportsman who hit the track trying to run in the surface the moisture from the sky was just enough to end the night’s racing.

Fans that were in attendance will be able to use their ticket stub for a future event. Their ticket stub can be used for an equal value race or worth $12 towards a more expensive event.

The speedway would like to thank the fans who waited it out and first the E&V Energy Novice who tried to keep the track run in and the SUNY Canton Sportsman who helped after track equipment tried getting the track in shape.

May 28 there will be excitement for everyone as Scott Jeffery’s Performance Plus presents a night of high speed racing and crunching metal on Memorial Day Weekend. On the Speedway the racing thrills include the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds/ SUNY Canton Sportsman/ Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Late Models/ E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and JB Logging & Firewood Four-Cylinders. After the racing on the speedway there will be the sights and sounds of King’s Spring Smashdown Youth & 4-Cylinder Demo Derbies in front of the grandstand.

Adult grandstand admission on May 28 will be $15 with everyone 18 and under free with pits $27. Gates will open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.
