New Paltz, N.Y. – The women’s swimming and diving team fell (135-65) while the men’s team flourished (115-90) in a meet against SUNY New Paltz on Saturday.
On the men’s side, Oswego finished first in the 200-yard medley relay. Andrew Minnick came in first in the 200-yard freestyle.
Jacob Mullett won the 200-yard IM as well as the 100-yard breaststroke. Logan Killian placed first in the 100-yard backstroke. Thomas Kearney also won in the 100-yard fly.
On the women’s side, Lauren Jackson came in second in the 1000-yard freestyle race. Katie Flood came in first in the 100-yard breaststroke while Emily Karszes came in second place.
Oswego came in both first and second place in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
The Lakers will be back in action on next Saturday when they return home to take on SUNY Brockport at 1 p.m.
