Oswego State Women’s Tennis Overpowered by Oneonta

OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women’s tennis team (0-6) was outmatched on Friday, as it lost at conference powerhouse Oneonta (4-3), 9-0.

The Red Dragons won all three doubles matches, only dropping five games along the way.

Nicole Leader (Jr., Baldwinsville, N.Y.) played the closest match of the day at first singles.

After dropping the first set without winning a game, Leader battled back in the second, losing just 6-4. In her second straight match at the sixth flight, Hannah Rawlings (So., Ithaca, N.Y.) captured two games in both sets.

Oswego State returns to action, when it travels to play Alfred tomorrow at noon.
