Against Auburn we came out very quick in set 1, we have been working on pushing hard and early in sets and keeping momentum in our favor.
Set 2 we again stormed out but we struggled with our defense and were able to rebound.
In set 3 we minimized our errors to close out the match.
Going into the match with JD we knew we would be faced with a good team who served well.
And JD kept the ball up and in play throughout the whole game.
We had a lot of good back and forth rallies throughout all 3 sets with JD and we prevailed in the end.
Both matches against Auburn and JD all of the girls were on the stat sheet and contributed to each of those wins and when everyone steps up on the court and plays tough and hard volleyball we are able to maintain a good rhythm to our game.
We have two matches next week as we will face off against Fowler (PSAL) and Central Square and then head to the Marcellus tournament.
This past weekend we got a chance to play Central Square in their tournament.
The girls went 6 and 0 in pool play and we got to play host Central Square in the semifinal crossover game.
We beat the host in two quick sets and then got to play Fulton in the championship match.
The girls played good volleyball all day and ended with a 2-0 set win against Fulton for the championship game.
