Submitted article

As part of SUNY Oswego’s “Family and Friends Weekend,” the men’s lacrosse team will be wearing pink this fall when they host their annual intrasquad scrimmage. Previously known as their “Green/Gold Game,” this year the team will conduct its first “Green/Gold/Pink Game” as a “Stick It To Cancer” fundraiser for Coaches vs. Cancer.

The intrasquad game will be on Saturday, October 18 at 3pm at the Laker Fields on the SUNY Oswego Campus off Rt 104. Each team member has the goal of collecting $100 in donations through game day with the money raised going to the American Cancer Society. In addition to the game there will be raffles and contests for spectators and the students from Oswego State’s Colleges Against Cancer organization will be assisting in promotions and game day activities. Admission to the game is free.
