SUNY Oswego Receives Oswego Schools ‘Friends Of Education’ Award

This year, the Oswego City School District Friends of Education Award was presented to SUNY Oswego. The partnership between the district and university is beneficial to everyone involved. SUNY Oswego Executive Assistant to the President Howard Gordon (second from left) receives the award from Oswego Superintendent of Schools William Crist. Joining in the presentation were Oswego Board of Education President John Dunsmoor and SUNY Oswego Associate Vice President of Development Mary Canale.

The award was created several years ago to recognize businesses and community organizations that do “great things” for Oswego’s students. It celebrates and honors those who have made significant contributions to the betterment of the district and its children.
