The Oswego State Mens Club Hockey Team lost a pair of games to a tough Rutgers University team this past weekend at the Campus Center Arena.. The first game saw the Lakers being outscored by Rutgers 7-2. Scoring goals for Oswego were Jordan Romano and Tim Rinck with assists being credited to Greg Distin, Chris Covel, Brandon Clark and Brad Kervin. Sophomore goaltender Mike Reid had 61 saves for Oswego.

After 4 nights of tryouts, the Oswego State ACHA D1 menÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s hockey team will be opening their 2009-2010 season on Saturday as they host the second annual Alumni Game at the Campus Center Rink . The puck will drop at 6:00 and admission to the game is free.
