Fulton CYO Gets Ready For Summer Recreation Program

Participants in last year’s Catholic Charities’ CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program enjoyed going to the Fulton YMCA for a swim. This year’s program begins July 5.

The CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program at Catholic Charities of Oswego County will begin July 5 and continue through Aug. 12. The program is offered free of charge to children ages 7 to 14 in Oswego County and is held Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dozens Of Job Seekers Flock To Expo

Senator Ritchie sponsored and organized the event to show residents that, even with what the senator admitted is a “blow to Oswego County,” (the loss of Birdeye) there are, according to the senator’s communications director Jim Reagen, “actually more opportunities than people realize.”

Oswego County Opportunities and Oswego Hospital conduct health fair dedicated to women’s health. It also reached out to the uninsured in the county. The event attracted dozens of people, women and men, to the Fulton YMCA.
