The spirit of Christmas was on display in Fulton Thursday night at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting celebration. There was music, crafts, snacks…and Santa, too. We’ve got a gallery of photos.
The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce welcomed its newest member, Allstate Insurance, The Schorer Agency with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The Elm Roads Service Unit of the Girl Scouts Council of Central New York held their annual Sock Hop in the CYO gym at Catholic Charities of Oswego County. The Sock Hop, which brings together Girl Scouts from troops in the greater Liverpool area, provided the Scouts with an afternoon of dancing, music, and games.
Current Chamberlain Jim Laboda will take the combined job.
Helen Hoefer can sum up the pace of her business in one word: “Booming”.
That’s not good news. Hoefer runs the food pantry and other emergency services for Catholic Charities of Oswego County. “Our numbers are up about 33% and I think it’s going to get a lot worse,” she said.
