Committee members for the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Stone Soup Luncheon recently visited the Pulaski Farmers’ Market to help promote the event. Food pantries in the Pulaski, Sandy Creek and Lacona area will receive some much needed support as United Way of Greater Oswego County brings its first ever Stone Soup luncheon to Sandy Creek.

The occasion was a breakfast meeting between school district officials from around the county and some of the state lawmakers who represent them. The students were not invited, but showed up to seize the opportunity to lobby directly for help to keep their sports, music and arts.
