Oswego County Rural Health Network coordinator Danielle Wert spoke to the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about her grant to help young (15-24) women stop smoking.
More than 130 teens came together in Buffalo recently to send a clear message: They have seen enough in-store tobacco marketing, and they want their change. On Aug. 11, Reality Check youth from across New York State rallied together to send the message that dangerous tobacco marketing should be removed from stores where kids shop.
Once the policy is in effect, neither staff, program participants, nor visitors will be allowed to use tobacco products anywhere on the nonprofits’ properties, including in personal vehicles.
