Revisions To Solid Waste Law Will Stabilize Fees, Help With Recycling Efforts
Proposed changes to Oswego County’s Recycling and Solid Waste Law will ease the burden on the property owners and help increase the amount of materials that are recycled in Oswego County, Legislator Fred Beardsley, District 9, Central Square, chairman of the Legislature’s Infrastructure and Facilities Committee, said.

Pair Of Councilors Question Majority’s Engineer Pick
The Common Council sailed through a short agenda this week. The only ripple was a 5-2 vote on one resolution regarding a capacity evaluation of the West Side Waste Water Treatment Plant. The majority’s choice will cost the city $30,000. The next lowest bid was about $14,000 – for nearly the same thing.
