OSWEGO, NY –- The residents of Springside at Seneca Hill are in for an extra sweet treat this year, just in time for the Valentines holiday.
Theatre Du Jour, an up and coming dinner theatre company in Central New York, is delivering some extra love and entertainment with a special preview presentation of “Love Letters” by Buffalo born by A.R. Gurney on Friday.
The preview kicks off the company’s inaugural restaurant tour that includes three venues in Oswego. The troupe will visit The American Foundry on February 7, La Parrilla Grill and Wine Bar on February 8 and Bistro 197 on February 10.
The play stars local favorites Banna Rubinow and Mark Cole and is directed by Bobby Fontana.
“When I spoke to vice president/COO Teresa Ferlito and she mentioned that many of the residents knew our talented actors and enjoyed them greatly in the past, I knew we were right where we needed to be!” said Theatre Du Jour founder Tammy Lynn Wilkinson. “I’m thrilled we can share this poignant story with them with our tribute to Valentine’s Day.”
Springside’s philosophy is to provide a nurturing, healthy environment thereby addressing the needs people have, which include social, recreational and educational.
Theatre Du Jour will perform in the grand dining room, which is the hub of the community and they look forward to contributing to the facility’s philosophy regularly through the arts.
