Two Drivers Injured In Crash

Fulton Police Department, with the assistance of the New York State Police, is currently investigating a personal injury motor vehicle accident involving a coach style bus and a tractor trailer.

On Saturday (June 21), at 10:58 p.m., the Fulton Police Department was dispatched to a personal injury motor vehicle accident at the intersection of State Route 481 and County Route 57 at the south end of the city of Fulton.

It was determined that the tractor trailer was traveling northbound on State Route 481 and collided with the coach style bus, which was in the process of making a left turn from the exit of Riverglen Plaza onto southbound State Route 481.

The driver of the tractor trailer and the driver of the bus were both transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Syracuse for treatment of injuries suffered in the accident.

There were no passengers on the bus and the driver of the tractor trailer had no passengers.

At this time the driver of the tractor trailer is listed in stable condition and the driver of the bus is listed in serious condition.

The investigation is ongoing and tickets have not been issued at this time.
