OSWEGO, NY – The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a number of events to celebrate Small Business Week, May 12-14, in conjunction with National Small Business Week which is coordinated by the US Small Business Administration.
Events for the week Include:
May 12 – SMALL BUSINESS WEEK CELEBRATION “NIGHT OF THE STARS.” Come walk the RED CARPET in our “Oscar-like” celebration of all our small businesses from 6pm-8pm in Sheldon Ballroom on the SUNY Oswego campus. Our night will be highlighted by our Small Business Awards, a keynote address by the Chamber Executive Director, music, dancing, “heavy” hors d’ oeuvres, cash bar and so much more! Come network with your small business owners and community members in a festive atmosphere and let’s celebrate together. Tickets are $20 for chamber members ($25 for non-Chamber members).
May 14 – SMALL BUSINESS EXPO – Reserve your space now for the Small Business Expo being held at the King Arthur Suites building on the corner of West First and Bridge streets in Oswego from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. This is a tremendous opportunity to showcase your business to the community, sell products and/or feature your services. Cost is $35 per spot (unless it is part of your chamber membership package) and space is limited. Register today!
May 16 – NETWORKING AND BREAKFAST – Hosted by Cayuga Community College, enjoy a morning of networking with other chamber members and small business owners plus some special guests from government and the community at the College Events Center in Fulton. $5 per person, 8 – 9 a.m., continental breakfast will be provided by Kathy’s Cakes.
