The award is presented annually to volunteers who care and want to make a difference in their community.

Tammy Holden of Entergy presented the award.

“Those involved with the Stone Soup project have made a significant impact on our community. Entergy is honored to have the opportunity to present the Spirit of Community award to the volunteers, small business owners and organizations that have worked so hard to make the project a success,” she said.

Last year’s Stone Soup luncheons raised $7,000 and collected 10 vans full of food for Oswego County food pantries.
