Fulton, NY – The United Way of Greater Oswego County has announced that it is in the planning stages for the distribution of $62,580 in funding that it has received from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The funding, which can used for food, rent and housing assistance, and utility assistance, is available to 501(c) 3, not-for-profit agencies offering human services programs. Those agencies interested in applying for FEMA funding must submit requests to the United Way of Greater Oswego County no later than October 31, 2013.
The local FEMA board would be meeting on November 6 at 10 a.m. at the United Way office, 1 S. First St., Fulton, to review all requests.
