OSWEGO – A special group of Volunteers raging in age from nine to ninety-six were honored recently at Bishop’s Commons in recognition of their service to the seniors of the enriched living residence.
Luncheon, music, and gifts were part of the special program that is traditionally held each April during National Volunteer Week.
While some volunteers were relatively new to the Bishop’s Commons family, others had been volunteering since March 2000 when the senior residence opened its doors.
“Our volunteers give countless hours of time sharing their smiles and talents with our residents throughout the year,” noted Senior Living Coordinator, Julie Chetney. “We are thankful for everything they do to make our residents smile, stay active, and have fun.”
