Assemblyman Will Barclay recently presented Mr. and Mrs. Terry Slater with an Assembly resolution in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The Sandy Creek couple celebrated the occasion with a surprise party hosted by their family.
The Slaters have two daughters, Charlene and Tammy; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
