Mr. and Mrs. Reed Celebrate Sixty Years of Marriage

KOREAN VETERANS CELEBRATE SIXTY YEARS!

Fred and Dolores, 25th of MaySeneca Knolls residents, Fred and Dolores Reed, celebrated sixty years of marriage with family and friends at Fellowship Hall in Baldwinsville’s Word of Life Church on the 25th of May.

Both Dolores and Fred are Army veterans of the Korean Era, Dolores having served in Tokyo.

Following his graduation from Hofstra College, Fred served as a technician in Meadowbrook Hospital where he and Dolores met and later married.

The first two of their four children were born at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver, Colorado, where Fred completed his Military Requirement, then settling in Syracuse.

Fred retired after thirty-five years at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Dolores from her business; Copy “Me” Perfect, soon after.

Both are now enjoying their family of, four children, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
