Sandy Creek Woman Arrested on Meth Charges

SYRACUSE, NY – On January 31, at approximately 9 p.m., the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) executed a search warrant at 2026 Harwood Drive Apartment #2 in the village of Sandy Creek.

Rebecca S. KeeganInvestigators arrested 27-year-old Rebecca S. Keegan, from that residence for Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the third degree, a class “D” felony.

Keegan was arraigned at the Town of Sandy Creek Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,00 cash/ $ 20,000 bond pending court adjudication.

Fulton City School District Budget Passes

Shortly after the polls closed Tuesday night, the Fulton Board of Education had the results: The 2013-2014 school budget passed. Along with the $65.3 million budget, incumbent board member David Carvey and newcomer Christine Plath were also elected.

Voters OK Oswego School Budget – Elect Incumbents and Newcomer to the Board

The Oswego City School District’s 2013-14 budget was overwhelmingly approved by the voters Tuesday night. The unofficial results were 1,131 yes to 407 no. Voters also re-elected Kathleen Allen and Jim Tschudy. Heather DelConte was the second highest vote-getter.

Oswego School Board Moves Ahead With Big Picture School Lease Plan

The district is submitting its plan to the Supreme Court and State Education Department soon. District officials believe things will go smoothly and the school will be able to open at its new location, at 80 Dutch Road in the town of Scriba, in time for the start of the 2013-14 school year.
