Dwight Leonard Orman, Sr., 66

Dwight Leonard Orman, Sr., 66, of Lock St., Phoenix, NY, died Friday October 30, 2009.

Born in Syracuse, later graduated from West Genesee High School. A Navy veteran, serving from 1963-65. He was a carpenter for Marsellus Casket Co., Syracuse. He showed horses at the NYS Fair in the 1960 decade. Pre-deceased by his father, Leonard Orman; and his brother Charles H. Orman in 2007.

Surviving are his loving wife of 37 years, Leslie (Simmons) Orman; three sons, Dwight L. Orman, Jr. of Fulton, Matthew Orman of Phoenix, and Michael Orman of Syracuse; three daughters, Melissa Orman of Phoenix, Amanda Ormna of Pennellville, and Deann Schrank of Syracuse; his mother, Esther (Isgar) Clark of Syracuse; one brother, Ron Orman; eight grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins.

Services are at 2 pm on Tuesday November 3, at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, Phoenix. Calling hours are from 12 to 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home 431 Main St.. Burial Liverpool Village Cemetery. Contributions: Hospice of CNY.
