Hannibal resident Jon Alvarez, a well-known conservative commentator, activist, Army Veteran, Realtor, and farmer began hosting “The Jon Alvarez Show” Monday, October 26th from 12-1pm daily on CNY Talk Radio 1390am.

Locally famous for his exploits and editorials challenging liberalism both locally and in Hollywood, Jon has appeared on John Stewart’s “The Daily Show” as well as on MSNBC’s “Scarborough Country” prior to enlisting in the Army Reserve at the age of 39.

Recently returned from a year-long deployment to Iraq, Jon brings a common-sense approach to his fight against all enemies of our country, both foreign and domestic.

Jon is also very active within the CNY community, as both a volunteer as well as a member of 3 Chambers of Commerce while serving as an advocate for the CNY community.

The Jon Alvarez Show will be “an exciting opportunity for listeners in CNY seeking an opportunity to discuss local, relevant issues in a friendly and informative format.”
