Raising Awareness Of Homelessness

Raising Awareness Of Homelessness

In recognition of National Runaway Prevention Month, and to raise awareness of homelessness in Oswego County, the program has set up a display that includes a paper backpack to represent each call that the program received to its 24-hour hotline during the past year.

The display also features a number of display boards with statistics and information on homelessness in Oswego County and how community members can help address the issue of homelessness by becoming a host home.

For more information on OCO’s YES! Program, call Baldwin at 342-7532.
