<p>The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Middle School joined a nationwide campaign to promote and celebrate music and music education with a Music In Our Schools Month concert. Held on Friday, March 16, the in-school musical celebration featured thirteen different acts comprised of students from grades five through eight. One of the highlights from the celebration was a rendition of House of the Rising Sun by The Animals performed by a guitar ensemble and accompanied by vocalists Tiffani Teller, left, and Emberlin Leja. The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Middle School honored March as National Music In Our Schools Month with a concert celebrating the musical and choral talents of students in grades five through eight. The concert was held March 16 and featured students Nova Kowalski, left, and Josh Comins performing a rendition of For What It’s Worth (Stop, Hey What's That Sound) originally recorded by Buffalo Springfield. Other acts included the grade five and six band, the grade seven chorus, a guitar ensemble, and the hand bell choir.
