Playing with Shaving Cream in the Sensory Table at Discovery Day Care

Samantha Harrison (left) Nicholas Vaverchak (right) and Alex  Morrissiey (front) are playing in the sensory table with shaving cream.   The kids liked how it felt between their fingers, and used vocabulary  words such as slippery, slimey, smooth to describe their experience with  it.<p>  Discovery Day Care of Phoenix has limited openings for  children 8 months to 12 years old.  If interested in enrolling your  child please feel free to contact Julie Boyd, Center Manager at  695-4838.  <p>  OCO Inc., is a private, non-sector agency that has  been supporting communities throughout Oswego county since 1966. Tyler Redhead from the school age room at Discovery Day Care is  using his imagination to build a house out of legos.   School age  children are given opportunities to play, socialize with peers and  explore their environment.<p>  Discovery Day Care of Phoenix has  limited openings for children 8 months to 12 years old. Singing the “Good Night” Song to a Toddler

Ella Donath and Paige Pinkley engage in pretend play as Ella puts Paige “to sleep” by singing the “Good Night” song to her. Making Pasta in Preschool 1

The children were able to eat their pasta they made with their lunch that day. The kids were able to see if they could taste a difference with home made verses store bought.

Using Part of Their Sensory Skills in the Toddler Room

Helmet Painting in Preschool 1
