The Coast Guard rescued a husband and his wife, Tuesday, in northeast Lake Ontario after the husband fell into the water and the wife remained adrift on their catamaran.

‘Joseph’ Comes to Fulton This Week
The curtain opens Thursday for Rising Stars Theatre’s production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” in the city of Fulton. Planned as a fundraiser for Fulton Community Theatre, the show will be presented in three performances, Thursday, Friday and Saturday on stage at G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton. All shows start at 8 p.m.

City Approves Parking Changes
The city of Fulton has officially authorized changes to the parking times allowed for 32 of the 56 spaces in the downtown lot 5 parking lot. With those changes, the council also made lot 3 — the city parking lot across Oneida Street — an employee parking lot from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Oswego Board Of Education Switches Schools’ Start-Dismissal Times
The times will be the same as the start of the last school year. They had been altered this spring due to the bridge closing. However, district officials now feel that change wasn’t needed. The board also named Bill Crist the acting superintendent of schools.
