For years Alice Hannig, a resident of the Fulton Mills Apartments and a member of the Fulton Mills Craft Group, prided herself in supporting the Care and Share Oswego County Breast Cancer Group by crocheting a blanket that the group would raffle off as a fundraiser.
Tricia Clark has been named the coordinator of the Rural Health Network of Oswego County. Operating under the auspices of OCO, the Rural Health Network is a consortium of health care providers and human service providers in Oswego County. Working together the members take a collaborative approach to addressing major health issues that exist in Oswego County.
The United States Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787 and as part of a learning experience Kingsford Park Elementary School sixth grade teacher Tod Simons had a major class project culminate with the signing of the “Class Constitution.”
Activity is slated to begin this week to remove asbestos at the site of the former Thrift Store and More at West Second and Broadway in Fulton. The building was damaged in November 2007 when a neighboring structure collapsed. According to city officials, the remains of the building will be gone by mid-October.
