BOCES Students And Staff Support Army Platoon

</p> <p>Ten members of ECO 2-10 Aviation Platoon visited Oswego County BOCES to take a tour of the school, share personal experiences and introduce themselves to staff and students. This year Oswego County BOCES is showing its support for our community currently overseas by adopting a U.S. Army platoon. The ECO 2-10 Aviation platoon will be stationed in the Kirk Province, just 20 miles north of Baghdad. Before leaving for Iraq, some of the platoon members took time out to visit Oswego County BOCES.

Oswego Music Hall Welcomes Mark Rust December 6

Mark Rust comes from a musical family. His grandmother immigrated to America in the 1920’s, and later opened a nightclub in which everyone in the family performed music. When Mark was old enough, he joined the family’s entertainment. Over the next many years, the Rust family traveled and performed widely at concerts and festivals.

Auer Enjoys Solid State Swim Competiton

Oswego swimmer Michaela Auer was able to compete at the New York State Swimming and Diving Championship meet in Buffalo this weekend as a result of her school record-setting performance at Sectionals two weeks ago.  Only a sophomore, this is the first time that she has qualified for the meet.  Her event, the 100 yard breaststroke, was a strong one at the meet with 64 girls qualifying.  Michaela was ranked 57th going into the meet.
