CYO Students Enjoy Game Day
Children in Catholic Charities’ CYO Summer Program recently enjoyed a full day of outdoor fun as they participated in the program’s game day. The children enjoyed a picnic lunch and a variety of games including relay races, balloon toss and other water games as they experienced the principles of working together and playing cooperatively.

Silver-based Photo Exhibition Opens At Art Association Gallery
The Art Association of Oswego announces the opening of two new exhibitions on Saturday, August 22 at the Oswego Civic Arts Center. Opening in the Timothy McHenry gallery on the Art Center’s second floor will be Travels in Silver, an exhibition of traditional silver-based photography by two Central New York photographers, Peter Mahan and Yolanda Tooley. This exhibition will showcase memorable images culled from their travels, presented in black and white.

Upcoming Events At Sterling Nature Center
Wednesday August 5, 1pm
Snakes, turtles, frogs and salamanders of the area will be the topic for exploration. Join Naturalist Jim D’Angelo to discover and learn the truth about their beneficial behavior in their landscape. We will also discuss how you can make your landscape friendly for these unique creatures. The program is ideal for kids with a parent as well as anyone with an interest in herpetology, the study of reptiles and amphibians.
