Barry Leemann Re-Elected Chairman of Oswego County Legislature

Legislator Barry D. Leemann, District 4, received a unanimous vote as Chairman of the Oswego County Legislature at the 2010 organizational meeting. Holding the Bible is Leemann’s wife, Karen, as State Supreme Court Justice Norman Seiter Jr. administers the oath of office.

Legislator Barry D. Leemann, District 4, was re-elected to his third term as Chairman of the Oswego County Legislature at the 2010 organizational meeting. Oswego County legislators also re-elected were John Proud, District 7, to his third term as Vice Chairman, and re-elected Ted Jerrett to his twelfth term as Clerk of the Legislature.

Central New York SUNY Presidents Laud Governor’s Call to Empower Public Higher Education

The act would grant a degree of flexibility and autonomy to SUNY that university leaders have long sought. It would separate the state’s 64 campuses from other state agencies, grant the system’s board of trustees significant tuition-setting authority and free campuses from burdensome purchasing and contracting constraints.
