At its meeting Tuesday, the Oswego County Legislature’s Nuclear Plant Tax Status Committee approved two resolutions dealing with Nine Mile Point Unit I. It would provide for a one-year PILOT deal with the nuclear power plant. Scriba has voted to accept the deal; the Oswego school board voted against it.

OHS’ Parker Bound For NYS Track & Field Championships

- Oswego senior track standout Eliza Parker
Eliza Parker is bound for the New York State Track and Field Championships once again as she qualified for the 100 hurdle competition. Parker shattered her previous best in the 100 meter hurdles with an outstanding time of 15.37 to advance to the state finals. She also earned a personal best in the 400 meter hurdles, with a fine time of 1:06.02, to place second, just missing the state cut time. Meanwhile, the boys’ varsity track and field team wound down the year and the boys’ modified lacrosse team finished a perfect season 10-0.
