Rotarians Hear About Services for Youths

September 20, 2010 Contributor

At a recent Sunrise Rotary Meeting Rotarian David Nethercott introduced Tina Sherman, center, and Ellen Lazarek from Oswego County Opportunities Youth and Family Services. Sherman, Director of Early Family Intervention and Lazarek, Collaboration Manager of Health Education, spoke about the Host Home Project. This project helps provide temporary shelter for youth under 21. There are youth in our community that find themselves with no safe place to stay. Host Homes are needed to house a youth temporarily and possibly give that youth a chance to change their future. You can contact 315-342-7532 if you have space in your home and in your heart. Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 AM at Fulton's Riverside Inn.There are youth in our community that find themselves with no safe place to stay. Host Homes are needed to house a youth temporarily and possibly give that youth a chance to change their future.
