SUNY Oswego Students Honored for One-act Plays

SUNY Oswego Professor’s WRVO Series to Spotlight Immigration

WRVO National Public Radio gears up to offer segments on immigration in May, as Jessica Hester, assistant professor of theatre at SUNY Oswego, tapes an interview March 11 with Frank London, a member of the musical group the Klezmatics. London's band, which performed on campus March 10, specializes in klezmer, music that draws on centuries of Jewish tradition and history, including the Jewish Diaspora, the dispersion of the Jewish people over many centuries. Five- or six-minute segments will air during the morning drive, said Fred Vigeant, WRVO's program director.

Jessica Hester, assistant professor of theatre at SUNY Oswego, wants to shed light where, too often, there is misunderstanding and mistrust: immigration.
