Major Concert Friday At Faust Theatre

OMS Orchestra to perform Friday

The Oswego High School and Oswego Middle School Orchestra Concert is scheduled for Friday, March 25, at the Oswego High School Ralph M. Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts. This is an outstanding musical event and recently OMS Orchestra Director Deb Mazurek rehearsed with her students in preparation for the concert.

Fulton Sunrise Rotarians Hear About Egypt

Tarek Adly, an Automation Engineer with Davis-Standard, Black Clawson, for nearly 40 years, presented a program recently at Fulton Sunrise Rotary.  Tarek, who is from Egypt, told us some history of Egypt beginning with Napoleonic domination in the early 19th century through the emergence over the past thirty years of an educated, but underemployed, middle class.  Also pictured is Rotarian LaVerne DeLand who introduced Tarek.   The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 AM at Fulton's Rvierside Inn.Tarek, who is from Egypt, told us some history of Egypt beginning with Napoleonic domination in the early 19th century through the emergence over the past thirty years of an educated, but underemployed, middle class.

OMS Students’ Artwork Brightened Night Of Stars

Displaying some of the posters that were created by Oswego Middle School eighth grade art students are Brenna Riley, Taylor Montgomery, Kellie Gorman, Meghan Anderson and Rana Al-Salameh.

When Oswego area “Dancing with the Stars” packed the floor the dancers were not only surrounded by a large audience, but posters created by Oswego Middle School students that help set the mood and atmosphere for the event.
