Volney Students are “On-A-Roll”

Students at Volney Elementary School are working hard, achieving academically, and living up to the school’s motto, “Do Your Best.” To recognize those students for their positive momentum at school, Volney Principal Jeff Hendrickson presented On-A-Roll Awards at the school’s recent spirit assembly. The recipients, pictured above, include: Nasir Noel, Hannah Shinnick, Teddy Clayton, Ethan Cedillo, Kaeloub Hawkins, Matt Miller, Travis Mazzaroppi, Niya Emmons, Grace Esposito, Sarah Gigliotti, Koji Burdic, Mason Wells, Jacob Curtis, Anthony Morrison, Alexis Paul, Devan Ketcham, Savannah Green, John Liberty, Justin Barney, Harlea Perry, Nick Burrescia, Gabriella Munroe, and Marc Benavidez.Students at Volney Elementary School are working hard, achieving academically, and living up to the school’s motto, “Do Your Best.”

A vehicle splashes through a large puddle on East Albany Street on Thursday as it heads towards City Line Road.

The Oswego weather observer reports 0.82-inch of precipitation on March 10. The Port City’s monthly total has jumped to 2.14 inches. The monthly snowfall  total is 3.5 inches and the winter season total is 176.0 inches.
