Hannibal Board of Education President Matt Henderson resigned suddenly Monday night, a decision caused by what he called the board’s irresponsible decision to adopt a budget.
Firefighters Plant Tree In Memory Of Fallen Brother
The Oswego Firefighters Association recently planted a tree at Elim Grace Church in memory of their fallen brother Scott Davis. Elim Grace donated food and the use of its rectory during Scott’s service last year.

Child Protection Committee Plans Community Forums April 28, May 3
The Oswego County Child Protection Advisory Council will sponsor two more community forums to discuss issues of child abuse and neglect, one in Fulton and the other in Central Square. Council members are looking for the public input on how people can take action to strengthen families and communities, and reduce incidents of child abuse and maltreatment.
Safe Haven Museum Hosts Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony
The ceremony will be a celebration of life, and the museum is asking visitors to bring flowers or plants to be planted around the museum in honor of those who passed during the Holocaust and in celebration of their lives.
