Voters Tap Incumbents, Myer For Oswego School Board

school vote teaserVoters in the Oswego City School District returned two incumbents to the board of education and picked a new member.  The voters also approved the $74,744,748 budget for the 2011 – 2012 school year. They also OK’d Proposition No. 2 – the purchase of 10 new school buses. Sam Tripp, John Dunsmoor and Bill Myer won the three open seats.

Hannibal Board Asks Citizens to Consider Serving on Panel to Help Pick Next Superintendent

Hannibal’s Board of Education will soon begin the process of picking a new Superintendent of Schools.

The board is setting up committees that will help with the process.

Today, citizens who vote on the district’s budget proposal can also fill out a small form to indicate their interest in being part of the committee.
